25th june - Experience of first campus!

Its 6 'o clock in the morning.... we all were in hurry to get ready... proper college uniform, no mistakes... white full sleeves shirt, blue jeans and shoes.. one hand resume and mark sheets(lot many copies of mark sheet, if in case we get selected so everything should be ready...) and on the other hand R.S Aggarwal logical and analytical.. huh!!! then we played our lucky song and dhup batti to god and as usual ashu took her lucky rosery and locked our room.It was heavy rain outside, cant afford to get WET... after all we were going for our campus interview.... so planned not to go by our bike, we will go by auto... well it was a costly decision to take but then also , anything for our 2.8 package job. Then we went to auto stand, as always i fought with him and did a fare deal to go MIT by 100... i am too good in bargaining actually...
It was 8'o clock wen we reached there, and at 8.30 it was scheduled... half an hour more to go... was feeling hungry but cant eat ... we all were in so much tension ... everyone was looking at each other, saying all the best and yes everyone was saying... "i just came to give it like this only, just for experiences, i hardly care if i get it or not..... " BUT in reality everyone wants to be in this BIG company called IBM .... and then their pre placement talk ... all the good part of their company, their achievements, activities and fun and blah blah blah!!! But they never mentioned that they throw ppl out like this... well every coin has its two sides.. they told us about their aptitude paper, it was for almost an hour with three sections... with no technical questions.. good for me!!
And then we started our paper... u know what, that paper was so easy... i just completed it before time... and i was really happy that i am gona get it.... but ... its not always what we think... after two hours result came ... and i was no where in that list ... that is my luck... may be bcoz i was destined to go somewhere else... I have learnt one thing in my first campus.... the words spoken by the HR of Company... he said"if u dont get it , dont think that u r not able enough, just think that, that one hour my luck didn't supported me.. thats it " his words were so striking... and yeah consoling also... its story of my first campus!!!
